• all files need to start at the same moment and should ideally be the same length (exact same file size)
• files should be 24 bit, 48 kHz, WAV files
• printing with FX is fine if you like what is already there, disable any heavy handed EQ’s (unless they’re essential for the production)
• The best way to ensure that they are correct is to print each inst, one at a time, using offline bounce, and then check the files in a new session
• also check that the file sizes are all the same
• The combo of all the stems should still sound like the song!
